I recommend using 1 mm (2 – 3 oz.) thick vegetable tanned leather for this wallet.
Yes, there are clear instructions as well as a build video to guide you. However the strap/pocket construction is a little bit intricate, so that part of the stitching is best done while following the video to ensure the correct stitching order and avoid any visible double stitches. Stop and pause the video as needed.
