For the drawstring dice pouch I recommend using a combination of 2-2.5 mm (5-6 oz.) thick vegetable tanned leather for the body and something much softer and pliable around 1 mm (3 oz.) for the sides.
For the EDC belt pouch I used 1.4 mm thick (3-4 oz.) vegetable tanned leather for the cognac pouch, and the darker brown pouch was made from 2.5 mm thick (6 oz.) vegetable tanned leather.
