This luxurious and elegant looking Leather Book Cover is made from embossed cow leather, NOT real alligator leather.
This Book cover measures 11x7 inch (28x18 cm) when laying open. Use this book cover to protect your favorite books and to give them a classy look that suits any use, whether that is for a diary, a notebook or perhaps a small bible.
The leather is between 2mm and 2.5mm thick so it's nice and firm, providing lots of protection. All the stitching is done in black thread. The leather has been dyed by hand with black leather dye.
With time and use it will age really nice, develop a beautiful patina and become more supple.
This book cover, like everything else in the shop is 100% made by hand to create a really beautiful piece that will get admiring looks everywhere, when pulled out of your bag or laying on your desk.

Also, since leather is a natural product, minimal imperfections in the leather itself are a possibility, this only adds character and makes every piece unique, but the greatest care is taken to use the best available pieces for your item.

This vegetable tanned leather will become softer and more beautiful with time and use.
If your leather item needs a clean, just wipe it with a soft cloth. It is important to condition it with a product specifically for leather on a regular basis, to stop it from drying out and cracking.
Which product and brand you use, is personal preference, there are many different products on the market.
Make sure your leather item does not get wet.
Please take special care wiping hand painted areas and, keep it dry at all times.
